Bust the plateau?

Just wanted to tell you that after nearly two weeks of maintaining at about 56 kg, this morning I finally saw the scale nudged to 55.6!! Yay! I know, I know... I should wait a few days to see if it's really weight loss or just a glitch... but at least I'm happy to see some real 'movement' on the scale :D.

Two days ago I tried splitting my workout by doing Leslie's 2 miles walk/jog in the morning and then in 30 Days Shred Level 1 in the evening. Let me tell you, I was dead asleep after the Shred that night! :D. Yesterday I didn't exercise, but this morning I did Jillian's Cardio Kickbox. I forgot how fast paced this video was, even compared to Body Combat. A great cardio session for under 30 minutes!

And speaking of after burn! Being the evening exerciser that I am, I don't usually feel it so much because I basically just sleep after exercise. But today at work, I really felt hungry quicker. At 11 am, I caved in and went ahead to get my lunch. I had a decent, fulfilling lunch, but by 2 pm I was hungry again :P. I guess if I'm really going to fall into this routine, I should reschedule my meals a little bit, pack up snacks or something.

Maybe this is the way to go to bust the plateau and finally get to 55 kg... so close already! Anyway, I'm in a really good mood right now, happy that I'm exercising, happy that I'm eating well enough, happy that the scale is budging, happy that I feel happy! :D I hope to stay like this all the way!

  1. AWESOME! Great work Dee, I'm proud of you! Keep it up. I've been packing breakfast, snack, lunch and snack to bring to work with me, then have dinner, and sometimes one more snack before bed. I've been aiming for 1600-1670 calories total, depending on my workout schedule, and making sure to drink 100oz of water per day.
